Principles This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no content from other providers (no external fonts, scripts or videos). There is no login and no contact form. Links to news articles only lead to other providers' pages when you click them; their privacy policies apply there. 3. Hosting The website is hosted by dogado. A data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. The servers are located in Germany. 4. Server logs For every request the web server processes, for technical reasons: IP address, date and time, requested address, status code, amount of data transferred, previously visited page (referrer) and browser identification (user agent). This is needed to deliver the website, find errors and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and stable operation. 5. Storage in your browser If you switch the color scheme (light/dark) or the voice output (on/off), your browser remembers this setting in its local storage (entries "madai-theme" and "madai-audio"). The entries stay on your device and are not transmitted to us. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), as storing them is strictly necessary for the function you asked for. You can delete the entries at any time in your browser settings. 6. Viewer count and live view While you have the discussion open after confirming the notice, we store for this open page: a random identifier created only for this connection, the browser family (e.g. "Firefox"), the language of the page, whether voice output is switched on, which contribution was last shown and read aloud, and the start and last sign of life. We store neither your IP address nor the full browser identification. The data is deleted as soon as you leave the page, at the latest after about two minutes without a sign of life. Only an anonymous statistic per day and language remains (number of visits and their total duration). The purpose is to show the current number of viewers, to coordinate the voice output with the viewers and the statistic. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. 7. Your rights You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).
